Friday's tornado caused extensive damage to a small community in northern Michigan.

It just touched down around 3:45 and just walked right through town

Gaylord was a town of approximately 4,200 residents located 230 miles northwest from Detroit.

The tornado caused severe damage.

Michigan State Police issued an overnight curfew on Friday and asked residents for shelter.

Hobby Lobby's roof was torn off and the town was empty on Friday night.

Traffic lights have stopped working, and only emergency vehicles are available.

Gaylord residents were stunned as they walked around.
